The statement of his Excellency, Mas’ud Barzani, in regard to the 69th establishing anniversary

In the name of the just and merciful God

Dear councilor and the members of high council of women affairs, it is to greet you and every single woman of Kurdistan for the 69th establishing anniversary of this institution.

            Kurdistan woman who fears is an experience of women’s contribution into politics and social life in Kurdistan, it is one of the most important achievements of our revolution which could sustain woman’s right in different stages, perfectly.

            This institution is a part of Curtis Revolution which besides supporting the Peshmargas, it also achieved its goal for raising awareness and securing woman rights.

            In this modern era, such institution also needs to work on the frames of coexisting cultures and promoting the idea of social equality and preventing domestic violence and to do so it is required to strengthen the nationalism but patriotism and democracy.
